Jason McBride

With more than 35 years of industry experience, Chef Jason J McBride is a Hospitality powerhouse who has worked with some of Canada’s top Restaurant Brands. A Linkedin Influencer with a social network of more than 40,000 followers, Chef is a Hospitality Training expert, Keynote Speaker, Consultant, and Ambassador for the Hospitality Industry.

Chef Jason has owned and operated successful restaurants, has worked as an Executive Chef for both private institutions and Corporate Brands, and has been the President of a 21-store Restaurant Franchise Operation. His professional expertise extends to menu design, franchising, operations, systems, restaurant start-ups, restaurant developments, FOH/BOH employee training and he’s opened more than 30 restaurants across Canada.

Early on in his career he realized his love of teaching. This passion led him to become a Corporate Trainer, working with multi-unit national brands. He has developed and implemented hospitality training programs for both local and national restaurant chains, as well as working with the province of New Brunswick to develop training and resource programs in the hospitality and tourism sector. Most recently, he has instructed post-secondary hospitality training programs for several notable Vancouver institutions.
