In his previous life, Jason came up in the ranks of some of New York’s finest cocktail bars, first training with Sasha Petraske at the Randolph at Broome before joining the cocktail dream team at Death & Co. Most recent among his roster of projects is as Operations Consultant at the Campari Academy in New York City, citizenM hotels in London, Glasgow, and New York, as well as producing cocktail-centric events for the US Open, New York Wine and Food Festival, Meadows Festival, Made in America Festival, and the Diamond Ball.
Jason is the former President of the New York chapter of the United States Bartender's Guild and is active in supporting the local community. He arranged volunteer crews through the USBG to help clean up after Superstorm Sandy and is also active with the non-profits Action Against Hunger and the Museum of Food and Drink and is the former National Program Director for Bartender Boxing Organization, a 501(c)3 which focuses on health and wellness initiatives for bartenders. In 2013, he was named one of Wine Enthusiast Magazine's 40 Most Influential Under 40.
