“Faith-driven nonprofit leader | Global perspective, local impact | Stories on leadership, generosity & community”
I’m a nonprofit executive, former global business leader, and passionate advocate for community transformation through generosity, faith, and practical action. After more than two decades in corporate sales and marketing with Caterpillar, including international assignments in Brazil and Miami, I transitioned into nonprofit leadership to help address food insecurity, disaster relief, and community development in a deeper and more personal way.
Today, I serve in leadership at Midwest Food Bank, where we work to share hope and resources with people in need across the U.S. and internationally. I bring a perspective that connects corporate leadership, faith based service, global experience, and grassroots community engagement.
I also bring lived experience and practical insight from intentionally living in an under resourced community. Through that experience, along with a lifelong commitment to faith and service, I have learned meaningful lessons about poverty, dignity, resilience, relationships, and the importance of listening before leading. These experiences have deeply shaped both my leadership style and my understanding of what truly creates lasting impact.
Jada Hoerr is a humanitarian engineer fighting hunger and poverty in her own community.
