About Me

Isaac Thorne is a nice man who has, over the course of his life, developed a modest ability to spin a good yarn. Really. He promises. He considers himself a lover of books, music, movies, and other forms of pop culture phenomenon.

Isaac is an experienced podcast guest, having appeared on a multitude of horror and non-horror podcasts since 2015. He enjoys discussing horror movies, horror novels, and music, particularly in the context of a work's impact on society and culture.

An element of social justice and psychoanalysis of modern cultural trends runs through most of Isaac's work, including his humor-infused TALES FROM THE CRYPT-style short stories he writes. His novels are more serious work than his short stories. The larger stories typically contain meticulous world-building and character development in addition to social commentary.

Although Isaac's work is often politically charged, he prefers to not discuss politics in general during interviews because these types of debates are often circular and beget nothing but bad feelings, especially in the heavily divided decade of the 2020s.

In addition to writing his books, Isaac has previously reviewed horror movies and horror fiction at a number of different review sites. For several years, he also hosted a classic horror narration show on SCRM radio, and Internet-based horror-themed radio station. He is an independent authorpreneur, meaning that all the work from writing to publishing to marketing his books is performed by Isaac himself.

Isaac particularly enjoys chatting with other horror fans.
