G.H. Forsythe is an author and cybersecurity professional with 28 years of experience in information technology, including cybersecurity, healthcare, third-party risk management, and IT operations.
His career has taken a less-than-traditional path. Alongside technology, he has spent decades in the fire service and has worked in roles ranging from emergency response to entrepreneurship. Those experiences shaped his view that the hardest problems in cybersecurity rarely come down to technology alone. They involve people, leadership, communication, competing priorities, limited resources, and decisions made when there isn't a perfect answer.
