I’m Georgia Kitson an online business and mindset coach, qualified NLP practitioner, and advocate for off grid living and being more self sufficient.

In 2018, I left the UK with my husband and daughter and moved to a remote off grid 36 acre olive farm in the mountains of Spain. It was the lifestyle I had dreamed of, but we have faced some huge challenges 'living our dream'.

Our original plans for a retreat business fell apart during the pandemic and licensing issues, and for a while we struggled financially and questioned whether we’d made the right decision. Out of pure desperation I started my first online business as a virtual assistant.

A few years later, our home was caught in a wildfire. Going through such a frightening experience left me dealing with PTSD and anxiety, and it became a huge turning point in my own personal development. I trained in NLP to help myself work through what I had experienced, rebuild my confidence and change the thought patterns that were keeping me stuck rather than turning to conventional medicine.

4 years after the fire we decided to sell the 36 acre olive farm and move to a more manageable 1 acre homestead near the sea. We are making the property 100% off grid and turning it into our dream homestead. We grow vegetables, raise chickens, ducks and ducks. We also have bees and are planting a food forest. Being more self sufficient is extremely important to me.

My healing journey has been incredibly powerful for myself but also how I work with others. I weave NLP and mindset techniques into my business coaching, combining them with practical business strategy to help women not only understand what they need to do to build a business, but also overcome the fear, self-doubt and limiting beliefs that can stop them from actually doing it.

Today through my 1:1 coaching programme The Freedom Business Accelerator and my membership The Wild and Free Women's Circle I help women turn their existing skills, experience and passions into profitable online businesses that give them greater freedom and flexibility.

I’m passionate about conversations around moving abroad, being an expat, escaping the traditional 9–5, becoming more self sufficient, off grid living and homesteading, motherhood and money, entrepreneurship, mindset, resilience, building a business around your life rather than the other way around, and creating the confidence to pursue an unconventional path.

I’m also the founder of Off Grid Only, a global off-grid buyers and sellers brand, and I love talking honestly about the realities of building an unconventional off grid life.
