“I am a member of The Klamath Tribes, Army veteran, podcaster, actor, father, and a guy who has taken a non-linear route through adulthood.”
I host Native As I Can Be: Between Two Cultures, where I talk about Native identity, culture, and what it’s like when you don’t always fit neatly into other people’s idea of what “Native” is supposed to look like.
My path has been all over the place. I’ve been in the Army, fought MMA, worked regular blue-collar jobs, gotten sober, acted, and somehow ended up hosting a podcast. I’ve also experienced the loss of my seven-year-old son, which obviously changed my life in ways that are hard to summarize in a bio.
I’m interested in Native identity, fatherhood, grief, sobriety, reinvention, getting older, and the strange turns life takes. I’m equally happy having a serious conversation or spending an hour telling ridiculous stories. Usually a little of both.
