I am the author of CARY GRANT: TAKING THE LEAD (2022), BRITISH INVASION '64 (2023), and THE COLOUR OF YOUR DREAMS: SOME DAYS IN THE LIFE OF THE BEATLES (2024), making me what I suppose would be called a Pop Culture Historian.
My focus is on specific and transformative periods of time in the careers of my subjects, chock full of rarely known tidbits. I enjoy taking people we all believe we know so well...who doesn't know the Beatles?...and delving into aspects of their lives and work that aren't quite so well know, helping to make them more well-rounded subjects for the reader, rather than simply being remote icons.
