Book coming Spring 2022: Courageous Inclusion: The Questions Every Leader Must Ask to Lead an Inclusive Organization

Like you, I’ve been experiencing much change. Every leader I speak with is looking for ideas and solutions to optimize their response to that change.

It has taken 20+ years advising and coaching leaders in some of the largest companies and continuous learning beyond my Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology to get me to this point. I can articulate a clear point-of-view for dealing with the kinds of change that keep you and your employees awake at night. I understand the employee experience better than most; 10+ years of measuring employee opinions have helped.

When it comes to organizational culture, I’ve helped many leaders deal with concerns about staying competitive, scalable innovation, and satisfying board expectations for diversity and inclusion.

Nowadays, I get many questions about leading through social justice disruption and building inclusive organizational cultures. These questions play to my strengths because I have a visionary perspective that helps clients see their organizations differently.

I know that leading a diverse workforce is challenging, and leaders often feel unfairly scrutinized. As a Black woman who is also a mother, a leader, an immigrant, an LGBTQ+ ally, and a mental health advocate, I offer a new approach based less on my expertise and more on my understanding of the emotional experience that inclusion requires.

You can overcome all these challenges. The vibrancy of difference is the secret to innovation.
