My Dream Gets Trashed at 16
Looking forward to the day I would represent my home town football club I was devastated at 16 when I was called into the club office to be told that I was being released.
And Again At 27
At 23 I got my act together, started dreaming again, and worked hard on the training ground. Finally realising my boyhood dream by playing for The Bluebirds at Ninian Park.
Disaster struck again after just 3 games. A severe knee injury caused my premature retirement.
I went from training 4 times and playing once a week, to suddenly not being able to run. Predictably I put on weight, as I'd carried on eating & drinking as I was before the injury.
This was no option in those days to google 'how to stay healthy when your sports career ends', so I dived into every nutrition book I could find, travelled the globe to learn from experts, and quickly deciding a plant based diet was my best option.
I started helping others lose and regulate their weight and feel healthier, which also raised my own self-esteem.
I now live in Norway continue to help people improve their health.
This became my passion when I discovered redox molecules and the role they play as a lifeforce for humans.
It's a huge breakthrough in medical science that we are unlikely to see again in our lifetime.
