About Me

Eric R. DySart is an internationally experienced systems thinker specializing in organizational psychology and behavioral economics, with a particular interest in shifitng behaviors in organizations and understanding why complex systems produce unintended outcomes—and how they can be redesigned to work better.

He holds four graduate degrees: an Executive Master of Public Administration, specializing in Organizational Psychology & Behavioral Economics, and an M.S. in Negotiation, Crisis & Conflict Management from Columbia University; an M.Sc. in Public Policy from Maastricht University; and an M.Sc. in Human Development, specializing in Risk & Policy, from United Nations University–MERIT.

His international experience spans the United States, UNDP in Moldova, and the Netherlands, with work encompassing organizational effectiveness, institutional change, social cohesion, conflict sensitivity, accessibility, and policy design.

Drawing on systems thinking, behavioral science, organizational psychology, negotiation, and change management, Eric examines the often-invisible forces behind organizational and societal outcomes—from incentives and feedback loops to cognitive biases, culture, and measurement. He brings a multidisciplinary perspective to conversations about why systems behave the way they do, why well-intentioned solutions sometimes fail, and how we can identify leverage points for meaningful change.
