“Dr. Friendtastic: Psychologist, author, trusted expert on parenting & children's feelings & friendships. Featured in major media”
I'm an experienced podcast guest, and I'm happy to talk about how parents can help children learn to make and keep friends. Almost every child struggles socially, in some way, at some time. Finding a friend in a new classroom, dealing with teasing, feeling jealous when a friend spends time with someone else... these are all common friendship rough spots, but they can be painful. I can offer practical, research-based tips for supporting your child's friendship skills.
NOTE: I don't generally talk about teen topics because my books and podcast focus on younger kids.
