Dr Marta López is a respected Chartered Clinical Psychologist, Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and Registered Clinical Supervisor. As the founder of Harmonia Psychology Solutions, she brings over 25 years of clinical experience, providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals and families.


With a master’s degree in Cognitive Neuropsychology, Dr López’s expertise spans traumatic brain injuries, chronic pain, and neurological conditions. She is a member of the EMDR UK Scientific Research Committee and serves as Secretary for the Climate Crisis and Intensive EMDR Special Interest Groups, demonstrating leadership in advancing trauma therapy and addressing emerging mental health challenges.


Dr López specialises in trauma recovery, anxiety management, and relational dynamics, integrating neuropsychology to explore how brain processes influence mental health. Her therapies, including EMDR, CBT, and compassion-based approaches, address PTSD, cognitive concerns, and emotional resilience. Her significant work explores EMDR’s potential in treating mild traumatic brain injury.


A passionate advocate for addressing climate change anxiety, Dr López helps individuals navigate the psychological toll of environmental uncertainty. Her insights into the role of attachment in shaping identity help individuals break unhelpful patterns and foster secure relationships.
