“CEO & Founder of Dora L. International | Fashion Disruptor Championing Body Inclusivity, Empowering Women through Foundation & Confidence”
I’m ready to share the raw lessons of entrepreneurship, the technical "why" behind great design, and what it takes to disrupt an industry from the inside out.
Building a company from the ground up in the male-dominated world of global manufacturing takes solid business sense and a lot of resilience. When I founded Dora L. International in 1991, I was stepping into a complex, high-stakes landscape of factories and supply chains where female CEOs were the exception, not the rule.
The lessons I learned in those early years became the bedrock of my leadership. I discovered that to lead effectively in a "man’s world," you don't play by their rules—you rewrite them. By self-funding my vision and maintaining a "couture attitude" toward technical engineering, I transformed DLI from a startup into a global powerhouse that has produced over 100 million bras for the world’s most iconic retailers.
