“Producer of MARAIS MISERY | Booking Co-Directors Keith Bridges & Neal Patrick Peterson for Horror, Film & Folklore Podcasts”
I’m Donna “DD” Mosley, producer of MARAIS MISERY, an independent elevated psychological horror feature currently in production, and I’m here to connect podcast hosts with our co-writers and co-directors, Keith Bridges and Neal Patrick Peterson.
MARAIS MISERY is a supernatural psychological horror film set against the stark beauty of Minnesota’s Lake Superior shoreline. The story follows a guilt-ridden brother who travels north to scatter his sister’s ashes, only to encounter an ancient freshwater siren that feeds on the unresolved grief of him and his friends.
Keith Bridges is a filmmaker, writer, director, cinematographer and production designer whose multidisciplinary background brings a strong visual and theatrical perspective to Marais Misery. As founder of Harbor Repertory Theater, Keith can speak about visual storytelling, directing horror on an independent scale, creature and atmospheric filmmaking, and bringing a supernatural story to life on the shores of Lake Superior.
Neal Patrick Peterson is a Minneapolis-based writer, filmmaker and engineer who brings an unusual combination of creative storytelling and analytical thinking to the project. He can speak about screenwriting, developing the mythology of Marais Misery, psychological horror, grief as a storytelling device, collaborative filmmaking, and building a feature outside the traditional Hollywood system.
Keith and Neal are available together or individually for conversations about horror filmmaking, supernatural folklore, freshwater siren mythology, Lake Superior and the Great Lakes as a horror setting, independent filmmaking, screenwriting, directing, practical filmmaking, and the creation of Marais Misery.
We’re especially interested in connecting with horror, paranormal, folklore, mythology, film, screenwriting, independent filmmaking, Midwest/Great Lakes, and pop-culture podcasts.
If your audience loves discovering independent horror projects while they’re being made, we’d love to talk.
