Div Garg

Div Garg is a two-time startup founder and AI researcher on leave from a Computer Science PhD at Stanford, where he created and taught the university's first course on Transformers (CS25) - now with over 1M views on YouTube. He previously founded MultiOn, one of the first AI browser agents. In 2025 he launched AGI, Inc., building proprietary "small action models" that let AI agents autonomously operate any phone - tapping, scrolling and typing like a human, with no APIs and 100% on-device privacy. AGI, Inc. now ranks #1 on AndroidWorld, the industry benchmark for mobile AI agents, is backed by Anthropic's Anthology Fund, Menlo Ventures and Point72, and was recently in talks to raise at a $500M valuation.

Div co-teaches "Building AI Browser Agents" with Andrew Ng on DeepLearning.AI, has given invited research talks at OpenAI, DeepMind and Apple, and was mentored by Ian Goodfellow (his first intern at Apple). His published reinforcement learning and imitation learning research (NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR) has been covered by Forbes, TechCrunch and The New York Times.
