Dinidh O'Brien

I am highly-experienced in both public & international/institutional relations, having worked with the European Commission, European Parliament, as well as crafting the message of some of the top companies in non-profit, B2C/D2C brands, and blockchain/web3. My previous experience as a journalist has given me a keen sense of what makes a good story and how to craft it in a way that engages and informs audiences. I am an experienced interviewee and speaker, most recently featured as keynote speaker at the AI in Healthcare Conference, DataSci Europe conference, as well as EU-funded Health Talks last year.

One area where I have particular expertise is in Artificial Intelligence, particularly the implications for data privacy, business and healthcare. I previously worked as the head of International and Public Relations for the Donate Your Data Foundation, working to solve the issues of privacy and access when it comes to life-saving medical data for researchers. I work with pre-public AI startups to ensure ethical and private access to data necessary for their AI, machine learning and NLP models for healthcare applications. Because of this, I not only have my finger on the pulse of the current state of AI, but also a strong sense of what's coming next.
