I grew up as a JPL brat at Voyager press conferences, spent several decades as a software engineer in virtual reality and AI, then retired to write indie-pub science fiction. I love to talk about stories and how they influence our visions of the future, the mechanics of how they work and capture our imagination, and the future of our technology and civilization.

I completed my debut novel, Theft of Fire, publication date 11/11.
