“Author, AI Innovator & Marketing Director exploring how AI is reshaping creativity, leadership, storytelling and the future of work.”
I'm the author of Silicon and Soul, a book exploring what it means to become human in the age of artificial intelligence. My work sits at the intersection of AI, psychology, anthropology, neuroscience, consciousness, creativity and business. Rather than asking what AI can do, I ask what it means for us.
For more than 15 years I've helped organisations embrace technological change, leading innovation across companies including Microsoft, Bank of America and Ancestry, where I pioneered AI adoption within my role. My career has been defined by translating emerging technology into meaningful human outcomes, helping leaders and creative professionals navigate transformation with curiosity rather than fear.
My perspective changed profoundly after a sudden, life-altering health collapse caused by COVID-induced dysautonomia left me completely dependent on others. Recovering from that experience forced me to confront questions of identity, capability and what makes us human when our independence disappears. It also deepened my conviction that, as machines become more capable, our uniquely human qualities—empathy, wisdom, creativity, resilience and connection—become even more valuable.
Podcast audiences appreciate conversations that go beyond AI hype. I enjoy challenging assumptions about the future of work, creativity, leadership and consciousness, while offering practical insights for individuals and organisations adapting to rapid technological change. Whether we're discussing the future of creativity, the ethics of AI, human potential, or how to thrive through uncertainty, my goal is to leave listeners thinking differently long after the episode ends.
