Dawn Coupe is the founder and CEO of Equinox Consulting, a business and technology consultancy she built from a single contract to a million-pound operation over eleven years, scaling 10x in four years while simultaneously navigating a hostile takeover attempt, HMRC debt, months without salary, and the loss of both parents.
She was named a finalist for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards for Scale-Up of the Year in 2025, the same year she was selling possessions to pay her rent. In 2026 she has been shortlisted for two Women in Tech Employer Awards, Entrepreneur of the Year and Best Use of AI to Support Women in Tech.
Dawn now works with founders of businesses between £500k and £5m who have built something brilliant and lost themselves inside it. Her work unlocks stillness, strategy and systems, including AI, so the business stops running them.

She works with founders who have forgotten what it feels like to dream about the future. Her job is to help them find the way out, and back to why they started.
She lives on a smallholding in the Midlands with four horses, sheep, and a dog, and will tell you that everything she knows about leadership she learned from horses first.
