Dawn Cochrane King is the CEO and Founder of The Journey Lessons, LLC, an educational consulting company providing professional development and self-improvement training in what Dawn calls the three parts of her purpose: Education, Grief, and Writing.
Dawn is an author, educational consultant, and grief facilitator with over 25 years of experience as a bereavement ministry director, hospice volunteer, grief support group facilitator, and grief coach. She also has over 17 years of experience as an educator and special education instructional facilitator for the local school district. Dawn holds Master’s Degrees in Educational Leadership and Special Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Accounting.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Dawn has been a long-time resident of Southern Nevada where she lives with her husband, Sam.
