“Serial entrepreneurs and futurists behind Snap's Kernel AR, Libermans Co., and the Gonka protocol - decentralizing the AI compute layer”
David and Daniil Liberman are Los Angeles-based brothers - serial entrepreneurs, investors, and futurists who have built companies together for more than 20 years, since childhood. After earning degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science, they built a run of ventures spanning gaming (Sibilant Interactive, Kanobu), CGI animation and motion capture (Concept Space), and a hit animated TV series (Mult Lichnosti), before moving to the US in 2015.
There they founded Frank Money, a radical financial-transparency startup, then Kernel AR, an augmented-reality avatar company acquired by Snap Inc. within months of launch. As Directors of Product at Snap, they helped build Bitmoji and 3D AR features. In 2021 they left to found Libermans Co., signing a Founders Pledge that commits 30 years of their combined entrepreneurial output to one shared company - now valued at $400 million and backed by Marc Andreessen, Josh Kushner, and Arielle Zuckerberg.
Under that umbrella, they've built Product Science and Humanism, and most recently Gonka, a decentralized protocol for AI compute that has drawn $50 million from Bitfury toward breaking Big Tech's hold on the AI infrastructure layer.
