Golf has been the through line of my life, but it has never been the whole story.

I am the host of The Hole in One Show, a nationally televised golf game show now in its seventh season, where we have raised over $130,000 for charity. The show gave me a front-row seat to the personalities, pressure, and humanity inside the game, and it taught me how to lead conversations that are engaging, thoughtful, and grounded. I am also the host of The Quick 18 Podcast, where shorter, focused conversations leave room for reflection.

Before media and leadership, I competed professionally on the Korn Ferry Tour. Life on tour taught me that golf is not brutal in obvious ways, but it is relentless. Long walks. Uneven terrain. Hours of waiting. Full swings under quiet pressure. There is no clock, nowhere to hide, and no one to blame. What wears you down is not the swing. It is the accumulation.

Today, I serve as General Manager of Fargo Country Club, leading teams, culture, and operations in an environment where standards matter and relationships last. My perspective is also shaped by being a former Division II football quarterback recruit, a husband, a father of three, and the son of a national broadcaster. Media literacy, preparation, and respect for the audience run deep.

I speak with reflection, not rehearsed answers. I enjoy conversations about pressure, performance, recovery, and what happens when your identity can no longer live on a scoreboard. I show up prepared, present, and aware of the moment.
