Let's rip the Band-Aid off - I'm awkward, but I was diagnosed over lunch by an equally awkward friend so how can that be wrong? I like to have a good time and not take myself too seriously, and that's what helps my perspective and my optimism. I work hard to keep those well lubricated and hydrated because genetically I have traces of perfectionist-narcissism and workaholic-messianism – which tend to leave you parched.
I like to ponder corruption at all its four levels or build a mobile app business - but only after I've sold it first. I offer advice and coaching to my customers and teach at a community college. The perspective I offer comes from being a refugee and years in the corporate world from banks, hospitals, entertainment, to Amazon and several startups in between. Experience hard won because, awkward!
My passions include getting my PhD by collecting Stories of Incredible Courage, and telling what I’ve learned. The biggest pearl I’ve gleaned is that people can “lose their fear of death.” In my second career I am dedicating my life to amplifying people and the best way to do that is to promote freedom – freedom like a locomotive, not like a leaf tossed by the wind.
