Dana Lewis is an award-winning international journalist and correspondent, who’s covered global events, politics, conflicts, natural disasters, social movements and change for four decades.
Throughout his career, Lewis served as an on-air correspondent for the world’s top broadcasters, including FOX News, NBC News, CBS News and CBC News and CTV National News in Canada.

Lewis’s reporting work has brought him to the front lines of some of the most significant events of recent history. Notably, Lewis was one of the first reporters to enter Afghanistan after the attacks of September 11th, 2001.
Dana Lewis was one of the longest-serving Western reporters to be based in Russia (12 years). He served as the Moscow correspondent for NBC News and later, Moscow Bureau Chief for FOX News. During his time in Moscow, Lewis learned to speak fluent Russian, interviewed President Vladimir Putin and covered major stories including the Moscow subway terror attacks, the Russian military assault on Grozny, Chechnya and the Russian space program.
Born in Toronto, Ontario, Lewis began his career in Canadian media, serving as an anchor for CBC News Edmonton and then starting his foreign correspondent career as the Jerusalem-based Middle East Bureau Chief for CTV. Lewis was based in Jerusalem for 6 years before moving to Moscow.
Lewis has served as guest lecturer at the prestigious U.S. Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. He was one of the first reporters to interview General David Petraeus (who went to become CIA Director) and followed him through the Iraq War's early days. Lewis has interviewed world leaders including King Hussein of Jordan, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former President of Israel Shimon Peres.
Lewis resides in London, England with his wife and two sons.
