I have worked in the field of mental health for almost 12 years in a number of demographics, particularly in black and brown communities. My work and experiences have given me the unique lens to assess and explore the impact and effects of black trauma and systemic oppression. My clinical experience also equips me with a detailed understanding to approach my work from a unique perspective of lived experiences, both professionally and personally. I believe in holding authentic space and having genuine conversations surrounding wellness and mental health, with an eclectic approach of humor, empathy, transparency, and realness.
