Damian Madray

Damian is a world-class designer that defines full-stack design. He's originally from Guyana, a small country in South America, moved to Toronto, and ran his own design and development studio whilst studying for his design degree in Toronto. He has extensive experience in brand, product, graphic, experiential design, and creative direction.

He then migrated to the U.S where he worked in Silicon Valley as a product designer. He was the lead product designer at Honeylove, Visually, Neo Innovations (acquired by Pivotal), DX Labs, and Singularity University. He has built successful digital products and apps for companies like Lowe's, Intel, NASA, and Adobe and co-founded the publication DXFutures.

While working as a product designer by day, by night Damian would produce eclectic and immersive experiences as part of San Francisco's underground nightlife with the intention of creating spaces for meaningful and authentic connections. This led him to the emerging field of experiential design becoming one of its leaders.

In 2019 he led experiential design for PLANET HOME, an environmental solutions summit bringing together 10,000 attendees alongside global thought leaders and artists to sustainably solve global challenges. He previously founded Hunie, a 500Startups company, TheGlint, and Presence. His work has been featured in the New York Times, Bold Italics, Huffington Post, Slate, and WSJ. 

Damian founded Parousia, a story-driven audio platform that streams immersive audio experiences to help with calm, anxiety, relaxation, and integration of psychedelic journeys.

Damian has written pieces on culture, product design, ontological design, and experiential design. He is looking for a podcast to share the story of his creative journey for inspiration, insight, and deeper exploration where he too can integrate his own experiences through dialogue with the hosts.
