About Me

“Mankind was my business. The common welfare was my business; charity, mercy, forbearance, benevolence, were all my business. The dealings of my trade were but a drop of water in the comprehensive ocean of my business!”

― Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol

Corey Jung is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a retired tactical athlete. Shaped by a past marked with adversity, including childhood trauma, Corey honed a heightened sense of vigilance and an uncanny attunement to danger. Motivated by a deep-rooted desire to “set things right,” Corey was naturally drawn to serving in the role of a U.S. Marine and later a career as a first responder, where he has navigated numerous critical incidents. Through these experiences, Corey has cultivated an in-depth understanding of trauma and its many manifestations. He is exceptionally skilled in both self-regulation and co-regulation techniques, designed to manage emotional overwhelm effectively.

In pursuit of well-being, integration of trauma, and resilience, Corey has deeply engaged in the fundamental principles of Mindset, Recovery, Nutrition, and Movement. His continuous learning is enriched by active mentorships with world-renowned experts in these fields.

Today, Corey dedicates his unwavering commitment to excellence to Human Performance Optimization. He focuses on enhancing both the physical and emotional well-being of a broad spectrum of individuals—from teenagers to elite athletes and seniors. His expertise in locomotion, resilience, and longevity allows him to cater to a wide range of activities, from daily life to special operations.

In addition to his core mission, Corey serves as an advisor to the Marine Raider Foundation, aiding veterans connected with the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC). He is also aligned with the U.S. Forest Service and has formed a partnership with the Heroes’ Movement organization. Remarkably, Corey holds the distinction of being a certified Type 2 Wildland Firefighter, and has made a groundbreaking contribution as the first-ever Technical Advisor and Human Performance Specialist to Wildland Firefighters in the history of the U.S. Forest Service.
