“Visited 30 eco-villages, communes, and land projects in 2 years; quit my job for an alternative life; grew 100K followers in 4 months”
Chris Morello spent 18 months and counting living inside the answer to "is there another way to live" — visiting 40+ intentional communities, off-grid farms, and permaculture projects across multiple continents. Before this, he spent a decade in the corporate world as a product manager in the airline and transportation space, then moved into startups, where he still advises a handful of founders today.
He documents his fieldwork for 90K+ followers on Instagram (@morellomunch), his Substack, and Rock Bottom FM, one of his other projects — a podcast built from his own collapse and rebuild.
He's not narrating from the outside. Chris previously built and sold a co-living project in Ontario, so when he talks food forests and off-grid systems, he's also fluent in cap rates and cash flow. Now he's raising capital for a new land-based project in Vermont, applying everything he's learned from four continents of case studies to something real.
