My name is Chase Stanley and I grew up in Houston, Texas. I've been a Writer/ Director/ Producer/ Editor for the last 5 years.
While in the United States Coast Guard, I knew my true calling was film. The issue was I had to figure out how to balance my full time job with filmmaking. I did that for four years in New Jersey, Virginia and California before getting out of the Coast Guard in February of 2020.
In the past I've directed a plethora of short films, music videos, commercials, real estate videos... You name it, I've done it. Not to mention choreographing a car chase in downtown Houston mid pandemic, or a one shot fight sequence that took 23 takes to get right... or how right after my lead actor ran the Maserati rental into a wall... but we can get into all of that on the podcast.
At the moment, I'm in pre-production for two features to be shot in 2021 that I'm directing, producing two TV Series (One of which I wrote and am directing a few episodes of), as well as producing two other features that aren't mine to direct. Not to mention my production company that I co-own that produces music videos, commercials, short films and more.
I've got a love for podcasts and I think it'd be great to be on one!
