Bryan was raised poor & abused in the heart of one of the US's most dangerous gangs in Pomona CA. He's been in many near-death situations, shot at, in a half dozen car crashes including a car that flipped 5 times & burst into flames, in a violent car crash caused by high-speed police pursuit, in a hostage situation, in a point-blank police shootout, etc. The life experience he's gained despite his relative youth has greatly expanded his vision and perspective. He's learned to turn negative situations into positive learning experiences and overcome adversities and break barriers.

Some of the positive results have been: He's been called on to successfully help prevent suicides on 3 occasions, started a rock band & wrote original music, danced salsa & kickstarted a salsa dancing champion, helped start successful startups, created a new restaurant category, catalyzed the career of an impactful influencer, helped break a science & technology world record, founded an podcast called The Archimedes Effect, founded a branding agency called Archimedes Strategic Branding, worked on projects for large brands like Harley-Davidson, Pepsi, US Department of Energy, TEDx, Wacom & more.

In 2015, after learning of his difficult personal journey and his determination to break barriers & overcome adversity, Bryan was invited by Coursera to their exclusive Coursera Partners Conference. In October 2017, Bryan helped break the Electric Vehicle Hypermiling World Record. In late 2018, Bryan began focusing on helping Science, Technology, and LATAM organizations to help them revolutionize not only their branding, but also their capacity for fostering creativity and for sparking breakthrough innovation.
