In 2015, I won a USL Championship and was named League Goalkeeper of the Year. By the end of 2016, most people had forgotten my name. There was no dramatic comeback moment — just a quiet, daily rebuild: stripping my game back to fundamentals and asking what it actually takes to be elite, not lucky.
That rebuild became FOCUS — a framework built on Foundation, Outsourcing, Community, Unifying your identity and team, and Systems. I use it to help people and organizations navigate transition, build sustainable performance, and stop confusing talent with luck.
Today I run Prime Focus Goalkeeping, one of the largest goalkeeping resources in the world, and I'm Managing Partner at Miller Woods Capital Partners, where I invest in sports tech, media, and athlete-led companies. I'm also a board member at America SCORES and the author of The Last Line: A Comprehensive Guide to Modern Goalkeeping.
