Ashleigh Watson

My name is Ashleigh Watson. I am a retro-soul sing/songwriter from Melbourne Australia. I have just dropped my debut album 'Huntress' which I recorded with renowned producer, Michael Cristiano in 2026. I have a particular penchant for vintage cars, clothes, and beauty from the last 50s' - early 60s era.

I have been in various bands since I was 14 years old, with some of the most memorable moments falling during my time in all girl Motown band, 'Sweethearts'. Together we travelled to Italy and Switzerland on two occasions to play some of the world's largest festivals and it is my goal to get myself back over to Europe to play my own music.

I always knew I wanted to be a singer, but the road hasn't been easy. I faced many challenges and closed doors before working with the team I have today, and even now I face new challenges as the digital landscape changes rapidly.

Those in the industry know that it's a hustle to get your music heard. Aside from promoting my debut album, I am also passionate about sharing my experience as a woman in the music industry so far, and discussing all the complexities that come with being an independent artist.
