I’m Aashiesh (Ashish) Chopra, a former banking CIO/CTO, technology executive, entrepreneur, and author of Autonomous Economy: The Rise of Humans in an Agentic World.

For more than two decades, I’ve worked across global banking, credit unions, central banking, payments, cloud, cybersecurity, AI, and financial infrastructure, including leadership roles at Wells Fargo, TDECU, and IBM.

I speak about what happens when AI stops simply advising humans and starts acting economically on their behalf. My work explores AI agents, programmable money, digital assets, stablecoins, real-time settlement, autonomous treasury, and the future role of banks.
