I spent twenty years inside corporate finance - CPA in Canada, Chartered Accountant in India, the whole architecture and 9 yards within Finance, And what I learned in that seat wasn't really about numbers. It was that the most expensive decisions an organisation makes are the ones it can't yet measure. Nobody puts 'the leader who lost herself' on a balance sheet as a line item. But I watched it cost companies everything - From silo mentality to high attrition rates, from lack of communication to lack of transparency , year after year, while the spreadsheet stayed clean.

So I built a second discipline on top of the first. I call it Values Under Load™ - measuring the gap between what a leader or organisation says it values and what its decisions actually prove under pressure. I work with CEOs, CFOs, and CHROs on exactly that gap, and I host a podcast, The Kitchen Table Conferrence, where we have the conversations most leaders are only having with themselves at midnight.

Here's the honest version of why: I ask myself constantly - if I died tomorrow, what impact did I create that makes me think the life was worth living? That question runs under everything I bring to a conversation. It's why I don't do surface-level leadership talk. I go to where it actually costs something.

If your audience is leading through pressure, ambiguity, or the AI transition and they're tired of hearing the polished version - I'm not going to give it to them.
