BIOGRAPHY
Antonia Gavrihel
Born into a show business family, Antonia was surrounded by the entertainment industry. Growing up, she would watch her mother’s singing performances or accompany her father on a movie set. Placed in front of the camera at an early age, Antonia found a home in acting.
Yet as a child, Antonia dreamed of being a writer. Her love affair with words and the visual pictures they create became her passion.
Back To One came into being in 1994 when her son was a toddler. After settling her son to sleep after work, she would sit at her computer and envision Cate and Kyle’s story. A year of writing later and the real work of finding a publisher began.
For the next 25 years, Antonia submitted the manuscript to publishing houses, literary agents, and production companies.
Redefining her ambitions, Antonia put herself through law school to become an attorney. And for a time, the manuscript found a comfy home in the drawer beneath her bed.
The summer of covid, she retrieved the manuscript at her son’s beckoning and updated the 1995 story to 2005. Excitement for writing reignited, she continued Cate and Kyle’s journey in a second manuscript.
Then a serendipitous meeting would change her life.
And the rest, as they say, is history.
