I worked as a senior UK detective investigating almost every crime there is. Towards the end of my career I was seconded to Afghanistan to teach a senior Afghan Police Officer how to manage intelligence and undercover work.
While in Afghanistan I blew the whistle on significant wrongdoing.
I was sent home on gardening leave and treated appallingly.
When I retired from the Police I went to work in the Cayman Islands in high finance. I managed financial compliance looking into tax evasion and money laundering.
Putting my experiences together I have started a software company. We have built a truly independent whistleblowing platform. We help whistleblowers report what they know and speak truth to power.
We focus on the offshore financial markets but the platform can be used in any industry.
If you interview me I can talk about my time in law enforcement, my time in Afghanistan, my experience of whistleblowing, my time dealing with high end financial compliance and how all of these experiences led me to create a whistleblowing platform that puts whistleblower safety at the core of everything we do.
