Harmony Farm: From Vision to Living Reality

Seventeen years after first imagining Harmony Farm—and nearly giving up on it—I found myself in Taos, New Mexico in 2020. What began as a much-needed escape from Bay Area wildfires and the pandemic became a life-altering pivot. Within months, I was stewarding a four-acre farm, having left behind my real estate career, marriage, and community. The way it all unfolded—through intuition, unlikely conversations, and a fair amount of chutzpah—still feels part mystery, part miracle. Through trusting my inner voice, I have been re-wilded. I have come to understand that we are the medicine we are looking for.

Since coming to the farm, I’ve been regenerating the land using permaculture principles—restoring soil health, replanting orchards, and reintroducing biodiversity to support pollinators and long-term resilience. What was once depleted is steadily coming back to life.

But Harmony Farm is more than agriculture—it’s about reciprocity. Rooted in the mutual aid traditions of Northern New Mexico, this work honors the deep interconnectedness between land, water, community, and all living beings. From shared irrigation systems to collective workdays, the farm is a living example of collaboration over isolation.

My work explores a powerful question: what if true wealth isn’t financial, but relational? Through land stewardship, community engagement, and regenerative practices (both inner and outer), I offer a grounded, hopeful model for healing both ecosystems, ourselves and human connection.

My story inspires others to trust their intuition, take a leap of faith even when you're frightened, and dream wildly.
