“Let’s talk Human Rights, Women’s Rights, Young People & The Systems That Shape Our Lives”
I’m currently completing an LLM in International Human Rights Law, and I'd love to have the opportunity to have discussions around the law, human rights, equality and education.
My career has taken a few different turns. I’ve worked at Oxfam on human rights, ethical sourcing and changing legislation, worked in financial services and business operations, and now combine my legal studies with work supporting children and young people through education. I’m also involved with UN Women UK and volunteer in projects focused on education, homelessness and social impact.
I’m particularly interested in the space where law, policy and real life meet. I enjoy exploring why having a right does not always mean being able to exercise it, how policy decisions affect people differently, and how young people and communities can have a more meaningful role in shaping the systems around them.
I can speak about human rights, women’s rights, youth voice, education, international development, policy, ethical business and career change. I’m also happy to talk about returning to university later in life, changing direction professionally and building a career in social impact without following a straight path.
I bring a mix of professional experience, academic research and lived experience, and I’m most interested in honest conversations that make complex issues easier to understand.
