“I help credentialed experts and personal brands close the gap between who they are and what their site says.”
After switching from a career as a musician, I pursued a combined major at UBC in computer science, microbiology, and earth science. Through my exploration of tech, I stumbled on UX design during her internship at the BC Children's Research Institute. From there, I worked with startups, corporations, and eventually found my way supporting business owners and personal brands. While I ended up on a winding journey, I discovered her own throughline: take something complicated and true, and make it legible to the person who has to act on it.
This pattern shows up in the founders and personal brands I work with. They aren't underqualified. They have traffic. They have referrals. And the website was quietly describing a smaller, vaguer version of the business they actually ran. The gap was never skill; it was translation.
Today, I run Contrast Collective, where strategy, copy, and web/UX design are owned as ONE decision instead of three handoffs. My Get Chosen™️ method moves through Story, Strategy, and Structure.
WHY I'D BE A GOOD GUEST
The most useful thing I do on a show is put words to something your listeners already feel. They know their site is off. They can't say where, so they redesign it, or they rewrite the headline again, and the feeling stays. I can name what's actually happening in language they can go use that afternoon. Sometimes that means reading a real website out loud on air, which makes a great episode when your format allows it and works even better as a live session for your community before we record. When it doesn't fit, we just talk, and I bring the examples with me.
