About Me

Give Love Original's Founder, Allie Chipkin, is a folk singer-songwriter based in Brooklyn, NY. Originally from Poughkeepsie, Allie studied Musical Theatre at The Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She went on to specialize in poetry at Skidmore College, where she began her professional songwriting career.

Allie has released two solo records to positive critical acclaim, and her songs have been featured on radio stations across the US. Allie sang the National Anthem for the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, and her songs have received honorable mention in the Telluride Bluegrass Songwriter's Competition. She has attended Rocky Mountain Song School as well as other songwriting retreats across the country.

The idea for Give Love Originals came from Allie's own need for a wedding gift. For the marriage of her dear friends, she wanted to give a gift that was personal, memorable, and lasting. She decided to write them a song based on lists of things the couple loved about one another. Guests of the wedding immediately wanted to know how they could get a custom song for their wedding, and the rest is history!

Listeners describe Allie's lyrics as meaningful, quirky, and heartfelt. You and your partner will sing your lyrics together for years to come, and you'll cherish the intimate process of creating your song together. Make your wedding day as unforgettable as your favorite song.
