Hey y'all - I'm Alexa, Head of Operations (and former Director of Marketing) at Talk Howdy, an Austin TX based tech startup.
Talk Howdy is building the largest marketplace for online communities, support groups, and virtual clubs. (Imagine if Zoom, Meetup, Reddit, and Facebook groups had a baby).
Here's my story:
A few years ago, I was an ambitious high school English teacher seeking for something to quench my entrepreneurial thirst. I took a chance, pivoted into EdTech, and was later recruited work at a tiny CPG startup. Within under a year, I was promoted from working on the Customer Experience team to the role of Content Marketing Manager - running six-figure paid ad campaigns and launching a highly successful blog.
Now, I'm the Head of Ops for Talk Howdy, and loving every minute of my life building a startup that's helping people cope with one of the hardest and most isolating years of their lives.
