I’m Adi, founder and CEO of DateSafe. We are building the world’s first reusable, pocket-sized device that detects drink spiking, targeting the three most commonly used substances: GHB, ketamine, and rohypnol.

One in nine adults in England and Wales has had a drink spiked. Despite how widespread the problem is, there is still nothing on the market that gives people a reliable, real-time way to protect themselves on a night out. That is the gap we are filling.

I come from a background in production, broadcast, and sales. I have built and scaled businesses before, and I bring that same energy to DateSafe. We are pre-seed, we have a growing community of founding members already backing the product, and we are moving fast.

I can speak on drink safety and awareness, the realities of building a hardware startup from day one, founder journeys, going from idea to incorporated company, and why some of the most obvious problems are still waiting for someone to step up and solve them.
