This show is a conversation about faith and religious experiences. What called you to your religious path? Did someone guide you? What was your worst moment, and did your faith help? What have you learned that you would teach to others?
John Crain Welsby is a Catholic theologian operating from Canberra, Australia. His mission is to listen to people about their spiritual experiences with compassionate curiosity. The podcast is non-judgmental, and does not attempt to convert anyone. Rather, it is an exploration of how faith and/or spirituality guides us, connects us, and inspires us -- in this life and beyond. Guests from all walks of life are welcome, including those who do not identify as Christian, although Christianity is my personal area of experience and expertise.
Guests will be provided with a list of questions beforehand to prepare. Each episode will last roughly 15 to 20 minutes, and is published to YouTube. The interview will take place over Zoom, and your face and words will be recorded. AI will be used to generate shorts that will be posted to Tiktok, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
