My Big Fat Junk Drawer

I have a lot of junk drawers. One day, as I dug through a drawer, I realized every object had a story behind it. Thus, my podcast was born! My Big Fat Junk Drawer is a show about the junk we keep and the stories we tell about it. We all keep things in our lives for myriad reasons: a concert ticket stub, a letter from an old friend, or a piece of jewelry from a loved one. You have a story, and I want to hear it!

I'm seeking guests with stories about trinkets or objects that are meaningful to you. What may seem like junk to the casual observer may hold profound stories of love, loss, hope, and happiness. My only rule for the show is this: you come with an object of significance and a story to tell about it. Beyond that, no other preparation is necessary; just a desire to share your story about the object you bring and have some conversation. Your story can be funny, sad, serious, or lighthearted.

The show is in its beginning stages, but it continues to grow. I publish one episode each week (Thursday). My show combines guest and solo episodes, where I recap former guest stories and provide my own story of the week.
