“Experiencing the Light - Living in the Land of AWEs! Teaching Children Healthy Spiritual Concepts”
My mission is to help people experience the Light. By this, I mean finding the light within and connecting to the Light Source (God), that they might experience life more fully and expand their vision of what is possible.
My spiritual journey includes growing up as a Presbyterian, being “Baptized in the Spirit,” going to Oral Roberts University and being deeply involved in charismatic and evangelical churches for 40 years. Then suddenly in 2019, my faith began to unravel and deconstruct leading to a "dark night of the soul," which ultimately led to embracing the mystical Christian path. Quantum physics, critical analysis, Ayahuasca and psilocybin, meditation and breathwork have been part of my journey of transformation. And it continues, as I learn what it means to “die that I might live.”
My life has been an adventure! I am an entrepreneur and owned my own financial planning and investment advisory firm. Our firm adopted a rural village in India. I have been to over 30 countries, from Iceland to Kirgizstan to India and China. I am married, have two children, two grandchildren and a dog. We love to hike and bicycle.

Daily AWE. AWE stands for Aware, Wonder and Experience/Enjoy/Engage. I write a daily meditation designed to cause people to think, question and experience AWE. Each meditation brings the thoughts and words of ancient and contemporary thinkers, philosophers, poets, theologians, mystics, and scriptures to my readers on a daily basis, covering a variety of subjects. https://dailyawe.org/
Children of the Great Light. I wrote a children’s book for teaching young kids (and their parents) healthy spiritual concepts - concepts that affirm a positive self-image and view of the Divine. Dogma and religious language are avoided.
