I started traveling independently in the last century and while travel has gotten much easier with the use of a smart phone, I still have the skills needed to bridge the gap in places where even the most modern technology fails.

In 2017 my husband and I sold everything and set off to travel the world. He was losing his vision and we wanted him to see as much as possible before it went completely. We traveled mostly in Southeast Asia and Africa. I lost him to health issues in 2022. We were in Ghana at the time and I paused there for a couple of years of healing and re-organizing.

Now I'm setting off across Africa, Ghana to Namibia this year, and exploring each country along the way.

My main goal, besides just the love of travel, is to grow my YouTube channel so that I can bring people along on my journeys. I want to help dispel the lies that have been told about Africa and inspire people to visit the Continent.

In the realm of travel, experience is what makes me special. I've never been rich, I don't pick languages up easily, my family has no influence anywhere, and I'm not even in very good shape. And I do it anyway.
