About Me

Paul is led by the superpower of curiosity. Inviting Paul to take the stage is not about a certain topic, it is about having a certain energy, someone who loves to wonder and wander through the world to better understand where we are and, most importantly, where we are going.

As a result, Paul is open to a wide range of subjects, with the following being a small sample:

  • Mental Health - Paul’s views on mental health come from years of research that have helped him understand his own mental wellness, and to ask some hard questions about how we are addressing this growing crisis in a time of instant-gratification and a compulsion to be seen.
  • Death…and Life - from the moment we get a diagnosis to the 100 years after we die, the industrialization of our dying and death process has created a complex suite of issues that most are likely not even aware of. Has our society come to a place where the exclusion of death at the dinner table is leading us down a path we never expected?
  • The Power of Language - we are all witches and wizards, and the words we use, as individuals and society, are spells that we cast into the world. How are our words, the spells we cast, shaping our society and the future we are creating as a result?
  • The Systems That Fail Us - focusing primarily on climate change and ecological collapse, Paul looks deep into the heart of the way we have allowed the systems on which our societies are built to separate us from where we came, and to explore what, if anything, can be done to reverse the impacts of them.
  • The Failure of Leadership - we look to our leaders to help us understand and navigate the world, and we idolize them when they succeed and villainize them when they fail, but is the problem in the people we call leaders, or the expectations we have come to have on them? Just one question that Paul can address on this subject, one that is deeply relevant to individuals and organizations alike.
