Hello, my name is Luis-Enrique Marquez, and I am an antifascist activist from Portland, Oregon – or as President Trump once called it, the "Anarchist Jurisdiction."
Recently, I wrote and published a book about my experiences as an antifascist activist during the tumultuous years of 2016 to 2020. While many books have been written on the subject of antifascism, this is the first to provide an inside look at what it’s like to actively fight fascism in our streets.
This book takes readers into the heart of street actions, from confronting the police to standing up against the racists they protect. It offers a rare glimpse into a world that is often speculated about but seldom truly understood.
There is a great deal of misinformation surrounding Antifa, and by having me on your podcast, we can set the record straight. Together, we can discuss the realities of antifascism and the activists who risk everything to ensure that people can live safely, freely, and authentically.
