About Me

Introduction:

My name is Joshua Sanabria. I'm the CEO and founder of GoArchitect, a Chicago-based design technology firm. I completed my Masters in Architecture from Andrews University in Michigan in 2014. Since then, I’ve worked with corporate architecture, marketing, and even a drone company. In 2018 I branched out to start GoArchitect as an architecture book publishing company.

As with many startups, the original plan quickly changed and we began to find our niche in the educational master planning niche. Since 2018, we've helped organizations with over $14.4 Billion in facility, investment, and design innovation opportunities.

Throughout this time, I've undertaken many software projects to help improve the design, community outreach, and financial side of master planning.

I’ve also authored several books including Norman’s Architecture Adventure, Unexpected Salton Sea, and Visions of Notre-Dame.

About GoArchitect:

GoArchitect specializes in creating our trademark Agile Capital & Equity Plans® for K-12 school districts. These ACE Plans expand on traditional facilities master plans to help decision makers understand the context, impact, and reach of decisions to be made.

Creating an effective facilities master plan is difficult; you must balance facility needs, community, and fundraising realities. ACE Plan embraces these challenges with a unique blend of design, technology, and marketing.

ACE Plan allows us to make key planning decisions with interactive and engaging plans that allow for scenario building, escalation planning, and easy sharing.

About Engage:

Our most ambitious product is called Engage. Engage allows anyone to create online forms with sticky notes, drawings, and interactive activities to gather insights, leads, and engage their audience. We created this to resolve many of the challenges we face with community outreach.

What can I offer as a guest in your podcast?

I can offer nearly a decade of master planning, architecture, and community engagement experience to your listeners. As a leader, I can speak about starting a startup, assembling a team, software development, and growing a multifaceted business.

Since I live and work in downtown Chicago, I can speak about what makes this city so great and why I'm optimistic for its future.

Is there anything you can help me promote?

Yes, I am very interested in bringing attention to the launch of Engage and its usefulness to professionals who work in marketing, community engagement, and even civic work. https://www.engagebygo.com/
